What is Sanda?

Sanda is Chinese kickboxing – a modern combat sport rooted in traditional Wushu / Kung Fu, refined with the best of boxing, Muay Thai and wrestling.

Punch like a boxer. Kick like a Thai boxer. Throw like a wrestler. This combination makes Sanda one of the most versatile combat sports there is – and makes you a complete athlete: technique, coordination and body control included.

With us you learn all three elements step by step – technically clean, with partners at your level and without aggression.

Full contact? Only if you want to.

No body contact

Fitness kickboxing

The martial-arts workout without any body contact: technique, power and endurance on pads – also available as a women-only class.

In training

Controlled & safe

Regular training is not full contact: everything is controlled and in a safe setting – technique before toughness. There is no free sparring here.

Competition · Light contact

Qingda / Light Sanda

The light-contact formats: clean scoring and technique instead of impact – the ideal entry into competitive fighting.

Competition · Full contact

Sanda

The classic full-contact competition discipline – for experienced athletes who prepare for it in our fight team.

Want more? Free sparring takes place in separate, voluntary sessions right after training. Nobody has to fight – but if you want to, you can.
